Investing in sustainable growth for businesses in the Nelson area is the purpose of this project.
Grants of up to £100,000 are available to eligible Nelson businesses to invest in new machinery, initiatives to lower CO2 emissions or energy consumption and building improvements to support growth.
The £2m pot of money was originally set aside for manufacturers only through the Business Resilience and Growth Project.
The criteria to apply for a grant through the Nelson Town Deal has been expanded so that all sectors can now apply for match funding.
Pendle Borough Council is leading this project and is keen to hear from Nelson businesses which could be supported to help create jobs, develop skills and entrepreneurship and adopt clean, eco-friendly sustainable growth.
Grants can be used to part-fund machinery, carry out environmental improvements or fund premises adaptations
